Too Much to Blog

Our week was EXTREMELY fun, we did so much and its way too much to blog individually especially as I will be having a brand new blog in 2 days!! Kristi had a great idea of doing these plates with the kids, they are each completely different apart from Jaylean and Taylor of course, those two I swear are twins. They did everything together and considering they are so alike they get on beautifully. OK now just look at Jaylean and Taylor's plates, I'm just noticing it for the first time. Jaylean's is top middle and Taylor's is bottom middle. 1, they both chose hands 2, they are the same hands, 3, every finger is colored the exact same!!! They weren't even sat next to each other, this is amazing. All 6 of them are great and I cant wait to see the finished products. Grandma LOVED being with all her grand kids, she got them all gathered up and they each had a job, then they made Grandmas famous sugar cookies. Although Eva was informed that she had to make a fresh batch that the kids haven't touched they turned out lovely.
Uncle Chris is SO much fun, All the kids wanted a go on the bike but it got way too hot for their little feet so we only got 4 rides in, luckily mine had done it several times.
We love Grandma and Papa, the girls just couldn't get enough on them. It was wonderful that they could be with us this Christmas.

A Christmas Memory

Grandma Perry sent you all some money for Christmas and you were all anxious to spend it. Without any planning or "maybe later's" we set off for Wal-Mart to spend your money. It was the only time ever, that we went straight to the toys and didn't stop any where else. You were all excited that it was just about you, we went up and down the toy isles until each one of you were happy. You all thought long and hard and picked the perfect gift, it was a great trip, so simple so stress free and everyone was happy,

Ginger Bread Houses, Pilliow Pets and 12 Stockings

A little more Christmas Eve goodness for you, we had a ginger bread house contest which was really fun. The kids teamed up to 3 groups and worked on their houses. Masie and Javien had to build their house before decorating it and the younger ones had one that was already built. They all work extremely hard and they turned out fabulous. They each got a prize for doing an amazing job and working well in a team, we had two overall winners; Kobe and Taylor, out of all the groups these two were the last ones standing putting fine details on their houses even when their partners ditched them. Before we put Buddy The Elf on we let the kids open one more present. Kristi and I got together and got all the kids Pillow Pets, I got her three and she got my three, they couldn't believe it because we had told them that pillow pets were not allowed in our house and they would have to choose something else for Christmas (don't judge us, its our blog!!!) So when they opened them we had 6 VERY happy children.
12 stockings after Santa made his trip, I think it looks great!!! What a perfect Christmas Eve!!!

Christmas Pj's

Happy cousins enjoying the moment!! What a night, it was wonderfully wild. After pajamas were unwrapped and put on it seemed to set the kids off crazy, they were dancing, playing and giggling like little people on Christmas Eve. Just look how happy they are. We had this weird elf thing that came to the door, the little ones werent sure what to think of it but he did leave a box of gifts on the drive way.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was fabulous, I want to real live it again and again. Check out the matching Pj's aren't they adorable!!?? More on that to come:)
The kids opened a few gifts and they were unbelievably happy, we got them all pillow pets which was so funny because they weren't expecting it at all as we kept telling them over and over that that was a big no no, so they were over the moon delighted, more on that too:) Anyway, Merry Christmas Everyone!!! I cant wait for the morning!!!! Good night:)

Guess Who is Coming Tonight

Yes Santa but someone else special is coming too!! The Tooth Fairy for Taylor!!! She was so excited and I mean EXCITED, she was eating her last chocolate from her calendar and said "Ewwww" and something came shooting out of her mouth, her very first tooth. Who gets Santa and the Tooth fairy on the same night, this is so special and she will remember it forever. We all danced around and it was a lot of fun for her.

Foto Friday

**It may only be Thursday but this is my blog, don't you know!!! I'll give you one dollar!!!**

This we has been the best week I have had in a really long time, I really love to laugh and I have done a lot of it this week. The first few days were long because we were waiting for our guests to arrive but somehow we got through it. Grandma and Papa arrived by aeroplane and Nate, Kristi and the crew arrived by car both on Monday. This weeks Foto Friday is as follows.
Friday- Last day of school, Taylor was very excited to go on the polar express with her Kindergarten friends, the cutie next to her is Hannah. Saturday- We got out of the Christmas party, Yay!!!!! I hate going to work do's, especially when its not my work and this year the hosts got sick. This is our platter of sausage& cheese and cheese and pineapple.
Sunday- Trying to pass time, what better way than a lovely winter(?) family walk.
Monday- Actually these next two pictures were taken on the same wild night but this is my blog and my foto friday and I can do whatever I like!! This is hot apple cider that we thought would be great if we drunk them out of wine glasses. Actually it wasn't the best idea because it burnt us but it sure did make us giggle like little girls.
Tuesday- GRITS!!! My new favourite food, no really. Kristi and I were completely wild this night, we were loud and crazy. We decided that we needed a midnight snack of grits. I have never ever tried this before but I was up for the challenge. When it was cooked it smelt so bad, I smothered it with sugar and gave it a good go. To be honest the first bite was like nothing I have ever tasted before, I recall saying "it tastes like feet". We laughed so much, it was the best night.
Wednesday- Six cousins opening one gift:)
Thursday- Kobe and Chris in the mall, don't they look cute!!!!!!!

Christmas Over the Web

We usually see my parents on the web cam every Christmas and they watch the girls open their parents. This year they are off to Ireland and spending Christmas with my sister and her lovely family. So we decided to have a little Christmas today, we saw gorgeous Maddie, who is changing all the time and has the most fabulous curls now. She opened her present from us and the girls opened their parents from Nanny and Grandad, it was a good time everyone enjoyed their gifts and had a lot of time to play with them this afternoon. Excuse the state of my laptop, I didn't realize how dirty it was until I took pictures. Merry Christmas!!!
