A Little Update

Just a quick hello, we are having a fabulous time. The girls are really happy and really enjoying their holiday. Hailey feels so at home that she felt comfortable enough (in front of my Mum, Dad, Rob and family and My cousin and family) to go out in the garden squeeze her 'parts' together and pee like a boy on the patio. I was horrified and chased after her but she was giggling like mad and said "I needed to pee."
We went out for a lovely walk tonight with my cousin Naomi and her boys (pictures later) we saw a Police car and the girls were so excited as they look a lot different than American ones. We must have got his attention because he turned around and flashed his lights while he stopped and chatted to us. He was really nice and even let us take a picture.

Maddie Moo

I have loved this little girl from when she was inside the womb, when she came out I loved her more than I thought anyone could love a baby, the second I met her my heart pounded and I fell over in love with her. She is stunning, she is such a good baby. Her cousins adore her, they fight who gets to sit with her in the car and they just love to play with her. Taylor would stay with her all day if she was allowed.

Horse Riding

Our first day started with a riding lesson from Auntie Sam, we didn't get up very early as we were exhausted and the girls were having a hard time getting out of bed. Once we got up and ready we went to the stables and met Auntie Sam. They got to groom him first and brush his lovely hair, they fed him some hay and then Masie rode Billy to the arena. Masie was so excited and had a few goes, she even had a ride with Auntie Sam. Taylor and Hailey only wanted one go but loved it. Oh and I had a go too, it was so much fun, I really enjoyed myself.
We are having such a wonderful time, the girls are still a little tired some points in the day but are doing amazing. Hailey is a wild child, she is chatting to everyone, singing, playing and being Hailey. Taylor is a little shy, well not with Nanny and Grandad but everyone else. Masie is such a Nanny's girl as predicted, if you see Nanny, you'll find Masie.

We Are Here

Hello, We arrived in London on time with no problems. The girls were amazing, the first flight went without a hitch. We thought we were going to miss our second flight but it turns out we had the time change wrong. So it was a reliving and we popped to Fudruckers for dinner. When we were on the second flight Hailey was asleep before we took off, Taylor wasn't far behind and Masie Slept for about 3 minutes at the end. They both woke up with three hours to go, so not too bad but it made the flight so much longer. Poor Taylor right at the end threw up, she had just had enough of the motion and not 'normal' food. The poor girl was so great though and got a bag and got it all in, she was very upset though. After getting through customs in record time, we had a slight problem getting one of our bags but we got it back in the end.

Taylor and Masie RAN towards Nanny and they had a lovely long hug. My Dad and Rob was there also and it was so nice to see all three waiting for us. We just love them so much and all our faces were just so happy and settled into our old ways within seconds. Hailey was so scared and hadn't got a clue what was going on when I tried to get her in my brothers car, but she soon realised that it was fun and he was taking us to Nanny's house. We stayed home for the rest of the night, chatting, laughing and catching up. My little baby niece Maddie came over and OMG she is just perfect, I will do a post on her sometime as she is amazing. But I'm off to bed after a long trip.

See You Later

We are packed and ready to go!!!!!! We leave tomorrow at 11am for the airport, my next post will be in England. I will be sitting on my Mum's couch with a cup of tea, a Jammie Dodger and most importantly my Mum. I will try and blog to keep you updated but most of all so I can keep the memories of the little things that happen. So wish us luck for the flight and I will see you later........

Goodbye 1st Grade

Today was Masie's last day in 1st grade, she got her report card which was really good and she has been promoted to 2nd grade. She is a little nervous about going but I know she will do awesome. They had their first grader end of year awards today, I have to make one comment, "they must have run out of money" They didn't give anyone proper awards for Math or reading or anything, they made up awards like "great memory" and they were photo copy quality, I was a little disappointed. We received her award for Social studies (because she likes different cultures) grabbed the rest of her things and we left. Goodbye 1st grade!!

Welly and Boots

Here are my lovely little Tortoise's, I'm going to miss my little Welly and Boots. I hope they do OK without Mummy love. Just look at their sweet little faces:)
I am having a little Anxiety again, but this time I'm trying to ignore it, which isn't that smart when you think about it. I have to pack, I have stuff everywhere and my lists... well they are nearly written. But what am I doing? Blogging, and although you maybe enjoying this insane blogging thing, It is just distracting me. I think I have posted 5 times today, isn't that crazy?? So I will see you tomorrow I'm sure, but until then I'm going to be busy packing, Maybe. Note to Self- Get off the chair and start packing!!!! Dont you yell at me!! (now I am getting distracted, you are the weakest link Goodbye).

A Wordless Post

He Came back

Taylor was so excited the other day, she came in screaming with excitement "He came back, He came back". I ran out there and true enough our lizard that lived in our yard last year came back to see us. We named he 'Edward' **Edit It has taken me two weeks to publish this and we have seen him almost every day, this afternoon we saw him drinking from the dog bowl and then playing on the 4x4.

Goodbye Cornerstone

Today was quite sad, it was Taylor's last day in preschool. It hit me like a ton of bricks that my little girl was heading to 'Big School'. We have been going to Cornerstone for nearly 4 years and it was really sad to say goodbye. We know the teachers like friends, they adore my girls. Here is Taylor with her preschool teacher Mrs Stacey (right) and her pre-k teacher Mrs Scheck (left). Taylor has grown so much in Cornerstone, she is very ready for Kindergarten (but am I ready?)

Where is Masie??

Last night I got a scare, I went to check on the girls and I couldn't find Masie. Hailey was asleep and Taylor was watching TV and smiling. I said "Taylor where is Masie" she laughed and said "under my bed". Sure enough there was Masie under the bed, she was fast asleep. After I took pictures and a video clip, Chris carried her to her bed.

Gorgeous Snakes

I love my snake, aren't they cute? Sunshine is getting huge, she should be breeding size next year. Her Mate Monty is not too far behind her, in a few years we hope to have little babies. The girls are not at all scared of the snakes, sometimes we worry that they have too much confidence with them. We try to explain to them that they could bite even though their personality would lead you to think other wise. They are wonderful pets though, I love that the girls enjoy them. Hailey is holding Tink, she has gotten so big, when we got her she was like a little worm, Ill have to find out the pictures of her as a hatchling. Masie is holding Casper, he was our first ball Python. He is lovely and wouldn't hurt anything, literally. We are really worried about him, believe it or not this snake hasn't eaten for a whole year. He just went off his food for some unknown reason, now when we offer him a mouse he curls up like "Ahh, its a mouse", once we left it in there for a minute or two and came back to find the mouse and Casper cuddled up together (a sight you should NEVER see, but was really cute).
We have two other snakes, Snowflake but she had just eaten so I didn't want to upset her and have her puke up the mouse (yuck, that's not a pretty sight). Then there is Monty, I didn't feel brave enough to handle him, he WILL bite without a doubt. When you open his draw he hisses and immediately gets in the strike position. We are trying to tame him, he is getting a little better.

$20, A Gold Coin and Earings

Well first Masie had her appointment today to get 4 of her teeth pulled, the same as last time one was wobbly, so for weeks I have bribed her with 5,10 and even 15 Dollars to get the tooth out before her appointment. Yesterday the day before the appointment I say "Masie, I will give you $20 if you get that tooth out today" the little bugger got it out within hours. So it did cost me $20 but it did save me $52 dollars at the dentist so I was happy. Her tooth was so perfect that the tooth Fairy gave her a gold Dollar coin, she was beyond happy when she found it this morning along with her 4 $1 bills (note the tooth fairy usually only pays $2 but in these cases she pays more as she is so brave). She only ended up having two pulled as she was so nervous and really upset, I was glad after I saw how many times they injected her for 2 teeth. Masie as usual was amazing, but I really hate seeing her like that. She was very scared when we went in but I settled her quickly and they gave her some gas, within a few minutes she was doing the macarena in her chair and trying to catch a shooting star. When the dentist came back the fear came back and she just held my hand. He was doing her injections and asked her to stay very still, which she did but you could see on her face that it was hurting. I was trying to keep a happy face for her but it didn't really work, she looked over at me and without moving or making a sound tears fell from her eyes. It was an awful moment, again I see my baby laying there in pain and yet again although I know it is better for her in the future, I gave the go ahead for them to do it. This being a Mum thing is one of the hardest jobs in the world, But I'm so glad I'm the Mummy of three wonderful little girls. This weekend Masie wanted to get her ears pieced again, she has no luck and the past two times they have got infected and we had to remove them before they were ready. This time we went with gold, we have been cleaning them and following all the rules so wish us luck, she looks so cute with them in.

The Jumping Pea Game

This was Masie's first real assignment from school. She was given a fairy Tale 'Princess and the Pea' and she had to read it and make a game about it. She did a great job, it took her a while to get interested as she just wanted to go a play, but we had a little talk (well I raised my voice a little) and then she got the message and gave it her all. She spent hours making it a fun and colourful game, she included a lot from the story and got full marks.

Field Trip Day

The other day the whole of the 1st grade year went on a field trip to the pistachio farm. She was so very excited but not for the reason you would think, wait for it........ Because she got to ride on the yellow school bus..... True story..... It was her very first time, Levi's mum is one of the teachers and took this picture of her on the bus for me. She had a really great time and learnt a lot, she couldn't wait to tell me all about her day.

Sleeping Beauty, Starring.............

Masie and Taylor Dorcheus. They both performed like true stars and Chris and I are very proud of them. Taylor started to have a hard time during the rehearsals and would cry and say she wanted to quit. I told her that she could quit after the show, I told her she made a commitment and knew what she was getting in to and she couldn't let her class mates down. Once she got there she was always fine and she smiled nicely on stage. Oh and guess what....... She doesn't want to quit now and wants to be in the Christmas show, go figure. One night she tried to convince me that she had been kicked out, I didn't buy it for a second considering that she doesn't say a word usually and sits nicely waiting for her time. Good try though Taylor. Masie was the happiest tree on the stage, she was in her element and the look on her face was pure joy. I cant believe the difference in her Ballet skills from primary to level one, she really knew her stuff.

Slight Panic

I have just started to go into panic mode, unfortunately I always do this and it drives me crazy. Its like my brain is telling me to do a million things all at the same time, and its so over whelming that I get nothing done. I have a major Anxiety problem especially when it comes to traveling, not sure why because I couldn't be more excited. I just want everything to be perfect and not forgot anything important. I woke up this morning thinking OMG I have only 8 days left to do EVERYTHING, if you think about it like a normal person there really isn't that much to do but in the brain of Kerry it feels like I have 2 months worth of preparation to squeeze into 8 days, its crazy but true!! Ballet Photo's

Our crazy Ballet week is finally over, I have so many cute pictures to share. We went to Picture Me studios yesterday and got these pictures done. Hailey had been feeling left out this week so we decided to dress her up in Taylor's Christmas Ballet outfit. They all looked amazing and got a lot of attention while walking to the studio. Masie's class was the forest and Taylor's class were Lilac Fairies.

Cute Little Helper

How cute is Hailey? She put this outfit on by herself and I think she looks adorable. After her water play she decided that she needed chores and asked to hoover the floor, I gladly agreed. So just to clarify, her outfit is wet from the water not from a bathroom accident:)

Taylor Graduated Pre-K

This evening my sweet little Taylor graduated Pre-K. I could hardly believe it, I remember the first day she started at just 3 years old. Two years later and my little baby is now a lovely little girl. Chris and I were so proud of her tonight, she did an awesome job. She knew all the actions and all of the words and sang like a star. I can not get over how far she has come, she started pre-school with zero confidence and separation anxiety. For months she would go to school crying, scared and breaking Mummy's heart. Now she walks in with confidence, happy, surrounded by friends and making Mummy smile. I love you so much Taylor:)

Mummy and Daddy's Pre-K Graduate This is Taylor and her friend Taylor Anderson, she thought it was so funny to have another Taylor in her class. She would say I played with Taylor today, and then giggled:)
Taylor and her best friend Kierlyn, she is really going to miss her. I hope we get to see her again in the future, she is such a lovely girl and a really good friend to Taylor.

This little girl is Natalie, she is also lovely and one of Taylor's first friends. When Natalie started she couldnt speak one word of English, now her and Taylor chat like no bodies buisness.

Well done Taylor!! Mummy and Daddy are so proud of you, you are smart, gorgeous, a great friend and a wonderful Daughter. We love you so much little lady.
