My Little Writer

Masie is so brilliant, her writing skills are amazing and she got an award for it at school last week. This really boosted her confidence and she was very proud of herself. We have been practicing with her reading and writing and with a bit of positive motivation there is no stopping her. I find with Masie, (I'm sure its like all kids) but if you are stressed or negative in any way then the enthusiasm disappears and you have a child that doesn't want to do their work. If you start the session happy and full of praise that will get you very far. Masie's blog didn't last too long, which I kind of predicted but she does have a journal which she loves writing in.
