4th of July

The 4th of July for us was family time during the day, and then friends in the afternoon and evening. We watched movies and did the girls Lego sets that they picked out from Legoland, we had a good time trying to figure it out and working together. It made me realise that although I'm home with them everyday, I don't take full advantage and spend the quality time with them that we all love. I love my girls they are so much fun.
When our friends came over we had the little pool out and they were all having a great time playing and messing around. We had a great BBQ and then when it started getting dark we started the sparkler and firework fun, Masie loved every moment and took full advantage of the sparklers. Taylor was a little nervous that I kept handing her a little stick that was spitting hot sparks at her, she never refused them but wasn't very happy holding them, the fireworks though she loved and couldn't get enough. Hailey was 100% different from last year, she actually had the best time and couldn't get enough of the sparklers or the loud sounding fireworks. After the fireworks we got a little visitor.......He wasn't very welcome I can tell you that, but we left him be as he can do no harm. Pretty ugly looking though.
